Why Temporary Staff? Briefly under the latest Basic Conditions of Employment Act, temporary employees are offered protection in the following areas: - Any person employed for more than 40 hours/week shall be deemed an employee with the resulting benefits:
- Entitlement of Union representation and may take part in industrial action
- Unfair treatment or unfair dismissal
- Recourse to the CCMA for wrongful treatment, including “expectation of continued employment
- Subject to Bargaining Council agreement in terms of wage determination

- Cost saving by having all the administration and statutory requirements of the Staff being undertaken by Circa Recruitment
- A single invoice levied for labour service rendered, further reducing administrative costs

- All human and industrial relations functions correctly adhered to and all grievances and disciplinary procedures being the responsibility of Circa Recruitment
Services Administration All wages are paid directly into employees' bank accounts via EFT. All statutory requirements in accordance with the relevant bargaining council, including all requirements as per the SEIFSA Main Agreement and applying the Basic Conditions of Employment i.e. UIF, PAYE Etc. are handled by Circa. Time Sheets Time sheets are provided by Circa Recruitment to be completed by the client and then faxed to our offices every Monday. Invoicing Invoices detailing name, trade, rate, hours worked and VAT will be forwarded on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Terms are 14 days from date of invoice. Rates All statutory documentation required would be presented during negotiations of rates, as agreed upon. References Circa currently supply temporary staff to many companies throughout Southern Africa and across the entire business Spectrum. A list pertaining to your industry would be supplied at the stage of negotiations. Permanent Placements We also offer permanent placements with a 3 month guarantee. Placement fees would be discussed at the time of determining the client's requirements. Should a client wish to appoint a former temporary employee, then these fees would be negotiated. Site Assistance Should our client require, Circa Recruitment has vehicles and a team of staff members to assist with medicals and inductions as well as transportation to site. On sites with large numbers we are able to provide a full time site agent with a company vehicle.
